I have made Bay Forest my home for the past three years and have enjoyed every minute of becoming involved of our community.  I have been on the Board, serving as the Secretary for almost two years, establishing my position as pragmatic- a trait that has become all the more important on a Board that continues to evolve.  I am a husband of twelve years and a father of four kids- two daughters and two sons at Falcon Pass Elementary.  In additional to helping manage logistics at home, and on the Board, I am a logistician professionally, with twenty-five years experience in supply chain and emergency management, serving in the US Navy and at ExxonMobil.  I believe that my experience, work ethic, and composure have been valuable on the Board and for Bay Forest during the challenges and successes of the last two years, and I look forward to continuing to steer Bay Forest as a premier and desirable neighborhood in Clear Lake City.

I have been the treasurer for the last two years.  I have a Master's degree in education with certifications in business and English.  I was a software trainer for Continental Airlines for 10 years before staying home to raise our children. I know I can continue be an asset to the HOA and to our neighborhood.
My husband, Tom, and I have called Bay Forest home for 30years and it is home to our 3 grown children.  Tom recently retired as Flight Controller from NASA after 42 years; Mason is a CPA; Madelyn is in her fourth year of medical school; and Mitchell is an agent for Goosehead Insurance.
As a community, open communication between neighbors and the HOA is essential.  This communication will keep Bay Forest the place we want to call home.  As an HOA board member, I will strive to make the board meetings open and welcoming to all neighbors. The HOA board members are the fiduciaries for the homeowners and must be fiscally responsible.  This means being proactive and not just reactive as our community ages.  I am a problem-solver with a positive attitude and I would appreciate your vote.

I have been proud to call this community my home for the past eight years. Over that time, I have not only grown to appreciate the beauty, value, and sense of belonging our neighborhood offers, but I have also dedicated myself to helping it thrive.

Professionally, I bring over 20 years of experience with my company;Wrist North America , starting in the warehouse and steadily working my way up to my current role as Offshore Buyer, managing a full team and overseeing operations for the Gulf region. This journey has given me a strong foundation in leadership, strategic planning, and financial responsibility. I am committed to making numbers make sense, ensuring purchases are made at fair market value, and always operating with transparency and fairness. I am also currently completing my real estate coursework, further strengthening my understanding of property value and market trends.
I have proudly served on our HOA Board for the past five years, gaining valuable insight into the expectations, needs, and goals of our community. My vision is to continue fostering growth through thoughtful enhancements—adding amenities that appeal to both long-time residents and new generations of homeowners, while protecting the beauty and value of our neighborhood.
I believe in open communication, listening to all perspectives, and finding workable solutions that benefit everyone. I love walking our streets, greeting neighbors, and being a visible, accessible presence in our community.
It would be an honor to continue serving you on the HOA Board, and I look forward to working together to ensure our neighborhood remains a place we can all be proud to call home.
