Welcome to Bay Forest

Assessments

Neighborhood assessments (dues) are paid annually, due by 31-December (late fees will be assessed)
Each fall, an invoice is sent to each homeowner via US Mail and email to the addresses on file on our Online Portal (PayHOA), for each home and homeowner profile
Payments can by made via check or online through our Online Portal (PayHOA)
Assessment payments are used to run the BFCA... maintain common open areas, landscaping, swimming pool, playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts, insurance, general maintenance, neighborhood trash collection, and contracted staff (property manager and lifeguards); budgeted discretionary funds may also be used for community events, improvements, or other mutually beneficial items

Make sure you've activated and logged into our Online Portal (PayHOA)
- Check out the community calendar - Multiple community/family events throughout the year
- Make sure you're email is up to date - Announcements go out several times per mon

Facility Access

Most all of our facilities (pool, tennis courts, restroom) are secured by touchpad locks accessible to residents
Codes are available to our residents through our Online Portal (PayHOA)> other tools> message board

Facility Reservations

Residents may reserve certain facilities, namely, the pool area pavilion, for private functions
Reservations can be made through our Online Portal (PayHOA)> requests
The community calendar, also on our Online Portal (PayHOA)> other tools> calendar displays any active reservations

Security

Bay Forest has partnered with Harris County Constables Precinct 8 for patrols and non-911 emergencies
For emergencies, always call 911, but for non-emergencies, reporting crimes, call 281-488-4040
To request patrols, notify you’re out of town, other neighborhood issues, email [email protected], which is checked by our contracted Pct. 8 officer

Internet: Wireline through Xfinity, fiber through AT&T, wireless through T-Mobile & Verizon

Waste

AmeriWaste: 281-331-8400
- Trash, heavy trash, yard waste services are paid through annual HOA assessments
- Recycling service is paid separately per resident, directly to AmeriWaste (call them to sign up)
Trash pick-up Monday & Thursday (set your own trashcan at the top of driveway, but visible from the street; no need to roll it to the curb)
Yard waste (leaves) pick-up curbside Monday & Thursday (must be bagged; branches should be cut and bundles in < 5’ sections or < 50lbs)
Heavy trash pick-up curbside Thursday (< 50lbs, bulky items like appliances may incur a fee)
Recycling pick-up Thursday (must register for service which includes trashcan provided by AmeriWaste)
- Acceptable items include Plastics 1-5 & 7, most paper, glass (all colors), aluminum
- Not accepted, batteries, pizza boxes or any waste w/ food particles, plastic wrappers or films, plastic 6, tissue
Other items: You are entitled to use City of Houston self-service drop-off for hazardous or other wastes; find a drop off center
